    A Gift of Laughter
the Gutenthal Novels

No relation to that Alberta Wiebe, Armin Wiebe is the author of three comic novels
set in southern Manitoba between the river and the hills during a time when we had
no herbicide-dependent canola and sugar beet fields still had their proper place
among the fields of wheat, oats, barley and sunflowers.
Living and writing in Winnipeg, Armin tries to expand the lexicon of the
Canadian language and believes that if Canadians don't wake up and smell
each other's stories our country could easily febeizel itself.

If you love to laugh about human foibles, love, sex, politics, religion
described in colourful language not always found in the dictionary give
these novels a try.
