A new story by Armin Wiebe will be appearing in Prairie Fire's Home Place 3 issue in Spring 2009.

Armin Wiebe served as Writer-in-Residence at the University of Manitoba's Centre for Creative Writing and Oral Culture through December, 2008. For more details see Centre for Creative Writing and Oral Culture.


Murder in Gutenthal, Armin's most consciously Mennonite novel, has been re-released.


Armin's latest fiction ("Moonlight Rehearsal") appears in a/crosssections: NEW MANITOBA WRITING, edited by Katherine Bitney and Andris Taskans in September 2007. The anthology is published by Manitoba Writers' Guild in celebration of its 25th anniversary and is distributed by J. Gordon Shillingford Publishing.

Tatsea has won the McNally-Robinson Manitoba Book of the Year Award and the Margaret Laurence Award for Fiction.

The Manitoba Book Awards Gala took place on April 23 at the Hotel Fort Garry in Winnipeg.

YASCH SIEMENS TURNS 20!
